Hi there! I’m Cynthia, owner of Cynthia Okoe Photography. I was born in Sierra Leone, West Africa, grew up in various cities across the US, and came of age in Jacksonville, Florida. I became interested in photography during my senior year in college. I was the sorority sister that would always have a camera in hand or in your face, and would insist, “you’ll thank me later…” And they always did!
While my educational training has led me through a fulfilling career in Higher Ed., I have never been able to escape that deep passion for creativity and especially for the art of photography. For capturing love, happiness, and celebration and for preserving the moments that matter most in our lives.
